The day wrapped up with the annual FAVC Memorial Day service at the 'Our Fallen Heroes' memorial. Guest speakers included Vice Mayor Charlie Frye, Jr,. Representative Abigail Spanberger, and Assistant National DAV Service Director Scott Trimarchi. 

   There was also a brief memorial for Glenn Hyatt, who played a pivotal role in the planning and building of the Memorial where our services are held. This was followed by Frank White reading his poem, "The Green Side of the Grass".
