We hosted our second History for Kids Resource Fair on June 3rd, 2023 and the theme was Civil War History! We displayed examples of resources and projects people can use to help their kids learn about Civil War army and home life, battles, music, fashions, and famous people. Historical reenactors were present to answer questions. There were free giveaways, as well as information on how to find the resources on display.

 

   Thank you so much to the 23rd Regiment United States Colored Troops (USCT) for your support to our History for Kids Resource Fair. Despite nearly your whole organization being committed to the reenactment at Fort Pocahontas, you were still able to support with a reenactor to set up a display and be available to answer questions!
